and lots of wild clothes to see.
these Gold records are 2 stories high & on both sides
of the wall & twice as wide.

We left Nashville around 4 stopped to eat and now I'm
ready to sleep in my own bed.  It was a wonderful 26 days
Just seeing God's creation was worth the 6000 miles we

Today we started out from Yukon, OK
Beautiful sunrise. Sorry, no pics on the drive.
I left my chip in my computer :(

We stopped in Kinta, OK To see our friends
Les & Iris Feldick.  Fran asked him all about his
ranch.  I think he said they have 700 acres .
They're ready to ship 200 calves to another ranch
so his son is very busy.

Les & Iris

The office is right next to their house & we met the girls
who take orders for his tapes & books.

standing on their deck. It's amazing that he takes the time to sit
and talk to all the visitors they get.

If you have time check him out on the internet. just type in
Les Feldick & it will come up.

We stayed about an hour & then drove onto Memphis.
Spending the night here & then tomorrow we will see if Elvis is alive !!!!

As you can see, we got an early start this morning.

We came upon Meteor Crater. What a splendid find!
This is the largest visible crater in the USA
the largest meteor crater is the Chesapeake Bay

You can't see it. neither could I but there is a building
                                            down there.

Our guide is Navajo, his grandfather was a Navajo
                                           translator in WWII.

I can't believe I walked  out on that rim.
The crater is a mile wide. We only walked 1/2 mile
                                                                         around
Saturday they had 3 inches of rain. the flowers
bloomed this morning. God is Good!

Some people told us to stop in Winslow AZ.

a group called the Eagles used it in a song
                                                   "take it easy"

one of many beautiful mountains on our way
                                               to Albuquerque NM

We're spending the night here. And will sightsee
                                                    tomorrow.

Well we're in Durango, where the wild west
was won.  Or was that Silverton  ? Whatever
Wyatt Earp & Bat Masterson etc. were here

I'll make history.

                                            Silverton. Lots a nice scenery.

this is Silverton built in 1860

Another ride on a train.  I'm enjoying it.

Fran & I have been up & down and around & around
I wouldn't travel here in the winter!

Tomorrow we have to get our oil changed. and then on to
                                           Grand Canyon.
