I'm packed and ready to go .  We decided to leave on September 2nd. I have been watching my daughter-in-laws parents pictures as they're on this trip now. It's so pretty, I can't wait to get started.

It looks like we're leaving earlier than September.  We added Montana and really should try to get there in September. We will probably leave around August 26th.  I must say I'm  getting excited ! 

Fran has retired and we are planning a trip out West.  He has always wanted to see Mount Rushmore.  Well, now it looks like we're leaving from the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina through  TN,IN,MO,IA,SD,WY, CO,AR,NM,TX,OK, then home.  We're not booking any hotels. we're going to meander , just take our time and see what happens.  WE know God will direct our paths and allow us to see what He wants .  We have info from all the states and Fran is interested in trains & old cars. I'm looking forward to history museums.  We are looking at the middle of September to leave and take 3 to 4 weeks.  Happy trails to us !!
